All our Comprehensive International Travel Plans are with QBE Travel Insurance and may be purchased up to 24 months in advance, suitable to cover your early surf camps or boat charter deposits. |
Cover for individual surfers, surfing families and groups to over 200 destinations worldwide. |
Unlimited cover for pre-paid travel arrangements. Cancellation or holiday deferment costs due to severe weather, natural disasters, riot, strike or civil insurrection, illness or injury before or during your surfing holiday. |

International Travel Plans - Guidelines |
The International premium amount payable is PER ADULT. A maximum of 2 adults can be named on a Certificate of Insurance. Please include the dates for departure from your residence and return to your residence when calculating your duration. |
Accompanying financially dependant * child/children, grandchildren, step children, nieces and nephews under 25 years of age are covered at no additional cost. |
The International Travel Plan must be issued prior to the commencement of your trip. Not available to travellers outside of Australia. |
The premium payable depends on your age and destination. If you are cruising for more than 4 consecutive days you must select the cruising option. |
Existing Medical Conditions 'EMC' |
If you are applying for an International Travel Plan you must tell QBE if you or anyone in your travelling party has an existing medical condition (EMC) other than those automatically covered. Available online when quoting. If your application is approved you will be advised of any restrictions or excess that may apply and may be asked to pay an additional premium. |
Existing Medical Conditions of a Non Travelling Relative or Business Partner 'NTR' |
Provided they are under 80 years of age you may apply to cover an EMC of a relative or business partner if their state of health could disrupt your travel plans even though they are not travelling with you.
