Budget Travel Insurance for Surfers

The QBE Elements Travel Plan is a 'per person' policy for budget international travel suitable for individual surfers under 65 years of age travelling light and on a shoe string.
The Elements policy does not provide cover for cruising or any snow sports, consider the QBE International or QBE Annual Travel Plans with the additional benefits cover for cruising or snow sports.
This travel plan can be purchased up to 6 months prior to commencement of your trip.
If the waves are too epic to go home on time - extensions to your policy are available online, provided you have made no claim or have one pending.
Your policy can be extended as many times as you like up to the maximum duration of 12 months from departure date. This is only available before the current policy expires.

QBE Elements Travel Plans - Guidelines
The Certificate of Insurance must be issued prior to departure. This insurance policy is not available to travellers outside Australia.
The premium payable depends on the destination where you are spending the majority of your trip and duration of your trip.
This policy is not suitable for anyone with an existing medical condition unless it is on the exemption list.
The premium payable is 'Per Person' children are not included at no extra cost.
Existing Medical Conditions (EMC)
This policy is not suitable for anyone with an existing medical condition unless those that are automatically covered. If you wish to apply for cover for an EMC the International and Annual Multi Trip travel plans offer cover.

If, having purchased the policy, you want to return it, you can do so within 21 days of receiving the Certificate of Insurance and obtain a full refund, provided no claim has been made and your trip has not commenced. The Cooling Off Period does not apply to policy or trip extensions.
